Penn College finished 26th in the national tournament
MACON, Ga. – Sophomore Tyler Myers’ (Centre Hall) tournament run came to an end on Friday. Myers’ lost to Max Barsky of West Chester University 9-3 in the fourth round of the 157lb consolation bracket. As a team, Penn College finished 26th out of 35 teams in attendance.
Myers started off the day defeating Vincent Camps of Slippery Rock by fall at 6:32. Camps had previously defeated Myers at both the NCWA state and conference championships.
Later on in the day, he took on Barsky in another meeting of Mid-East Conference wrestlers. Barksy placed third behind Camps in the conference championships.
Myers’ finish puts him in the top 25 of the 28 man field.
