Senior Trisha Moser racked up four hits on the day
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Despite a four-hit effort from senior Trisha Moser (Watsontown), the Pennsylvania College of Technology softball team dropped its first two games of the season against Bluefield and Randolph colleges in Myrtle Beach, Va. The Wildcats lost 9-0 to Bluefield and 10-1 to Randolph. “We’re getting the kinks out,” said head coach Roger Harris. “We’re trying out some things and playing tough competition.”

In total, only two earned runs crossed the plate. The Wildcats notched three hits with Moser racking up two singles and sophomore Desiree Buffington (Pillow) earning one.
Penn College put a run on the board against Randolph in the sixth inning. Moser singled to score Buffington. Also notching hits for the Wildcats were sophomores Amber Eck (Williamsport), Michelle Goodling (Renovo) and Holly Raybuck (Bellefonte).
The Wildcats will take on Lincoln and Olney Central colleges on March 8 for 9 and 11 a.m. games respectively as they continue their spring training.
