The Wildcats had 27 blocks in two games at Harrisburg Area CC

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Senior Andrew Epley (Littlestown) had 19 kills and 13 blocks as the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s volleyball team went 1-1 in a non-conference tri match Sunday. The Wildcats faced off against Shippensburg University and Harrisburg Area Community College.

Against Shippensburg, Penn College breezed to a 3-0 victory, 25-11, 25-21, 25-17. Epley notched seven kills in the game. Sophomore Adam Smith (Pleasantville) led the team with nine kills. Sophomore Brad Kabosky (Hunlock Creek) was on point with 14 assists.

It was a different story against Harrisburg, as the Wildcats fought hard but lost 3-1, 17-25, 25-16, 23-25, 21-25. Epley had his strongest game with 12 kills and nine blocks while Kabosky improved with 21 assists.

Penn College will next travel to Penn State – Altoona for a conference tri match that includes Juniata College on Wednesday, Feb. 9 starting at 6 p.m.
