The Wildcats dropped a close five set match to Messiah

GRANTHAM, Pa. – Despite 15 kills and eight blocks from senior Andrew Epley (Littlestown), the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s volleyball team lost 2-3 to rival Messiah College Thursday night.

The Wildcats dropped the first set 25-16 but came back to take the next two sets 25-21 and 25-17. The next two sets were close, but Penn College was edged out 25-21 and 15-10.

Sophomore Adam Smith (Duncannon) had 13 kills and three blocks while sophomore Brad Kabosky (Hunlock Creek) had 25 assists and three kills. Also for Penn College (7-6), senior Brad Bell (Harrisburg) had 10 kills.

The Wildcats will travel to Messiah College for an invitational tournament on Saturday, Feb. 26.
