Senior Zachary Plannick (center) took the top spot in the men's compound
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Senior Zachary Plannick (Corapolis) took first place in the men’s compound competition as the Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team competed at the World Archery Festival in Las Vegas, Nev. this past weekend. The recurve team of junior Glen Thomas (Mercer), senior Tyler Gale (Kennedyville, Md.) and sophomore Hilary Fisher (Temple) placed first in the team recurve competition.
Also for Penn College, Thomas took home second place in the men’s recurve individual competition while Gale followed in third. Sophomore Clint Hinton (Lock Haven) came in seventh in the men’s compound.
On the women’s side, Fisher placed ninth in the recurve competition.
The Wildcats will travel to Harrisonburg, Virginia on March 11th for the United States Collegiate Archery’s Eastern Regional tournament.
