2010-11 Women's Basketball: PSU Hazleton

Playoff hopes were dashed the Lady Wildcats fell to Hazleton on Thursday
HAZLETON, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team lost a 56-54 nail biter to Penn State Hazleton Thursday. The loss drops the team out of playoffs. The team finishes the season out 8-15 overall and 6-8 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
Sophomore Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) scored 21 points and had 11 rebounds. Freshman Keiosha Cooksey (Harrisburg) added 17 points and a team-leading 18 rebounds.
The Wildcats were down 30-20 at the half before clawing their way back in the second. Shooting was an issue as they shot only 27.2 percent from the field. The team did out-rebound Hazleton 57-47.
Also for Penn College, sophomore Casey Braun (Hughesville) had 12 rebounds.
