Freshman Tosha Stover had nine points in the loss
VALLEY FORGE, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team fell 75-50 to non-conference Valley Forge Christian College Saturday afternoon. Freshman Keiosha Cooksey (Harrisburg) led the Wildcats with 12 points and six rebounds. This is the fourth straight loss for Penn College as they drop to 7-9 overall.
Valley Forge was strong out of the gate, outscoring the Wildcats 35-18. The Wildcats shot 6-21 (.286) in the field on the half while Valley Forge was 15-36 (.417).
Also for Penn College, sophomore Casey Braun (Hughesville) and freshman Tosha Stover (Bellefonte) each hit for nine points.
The Wildcats had 30 rebounds on the afternoon and had 10 steals. On the free throw line, they made 12 of 22 (.545) attempts.
Next up, the Wildcats will travel to Penn State Hazleton on Tuesday, Feb. 1 for a 6 p.m. game.
