Freshman Tosha Stover led the Wildcats in scoring with 22 points
ELMIRA, N.Y. – Freshman Tosha Stover (Bellefonte) had 22 points as the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team lost 64-69 to Elmira College. Freshman Keiosha Cooksey notched a double-double with 13 points and 17 rebounds.
Penn College (7-7) led for most of the first half going into the break up 37-32. In the second, Elmira tied it up and the game stayed close to the end. Down 64-67, the Wildcats would send Elmira to the line and they would sink two to seal the victory.
The Wildcats out-rebounded Elmira 52-46 and shot 66 percent from the line and 36 from the field.
Next, the Wildcats will host University of Pittsburgh - Titusville on Jan. 26 for a 7 p.m. game.
