2010-11 Women's Basketball: PSU Wilkes Barre

The Wildcats dropped their second conference game of the season to Wilkes Barre
WILKES BARRE, Pa. – Sophomore Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) had 18 points but it was not enough as the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team lost 62-57 to Penn State Wilkes Barre. Freshman Tosha Stover (Bellefonte) added 11 as the Wildcats drop to 5-2 in the PSUAC and 7-6 overall.
Tied at 28 at the half, Penn College had the lead with eight left in the game but could not hold on for the victory. In the game, they out-rebounded the Lions 41-29 and were 15 for 27 (.556) from the line.
Freshman Keiosha Cooksey (Harrisburg) led the Wildcats in rebounding with eight. Steer pulled down six while Stover had five.
Penn College will travel to Elmira College on Monday, Jan. 24 for its next non-conference game at 7 p.m.
