The Wildcats scored only 15 points in the first half against Beaver
MONACA, Pa. – Sophomore Kierstin Steer (Williamsport) scored 20 points and had nine rebounds but it was not enough to help the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team defeat PSUAC powerhouse Penn State Beaver. The Wildcats lost 96-47 dropping to 8-13 overall and 6-6 in the PSUAC.
It was a rough first half with the Lions outscoring Penn College 53-15. The team shot only 5 for 27 (.185) from the floor. It was a better second half with the Wildcats putting up 32 points.
Also for Penn College, freshman Kendra Dutrow (Bellefonte) had nine points.
Penn College will host Penn State Schuylkill on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m.
