2010-11 Women's Basketball: Lycoming College
November 16, 2010

Lycoming College controlled the pace of the game and cruised to an 89-46 victory over Penn College
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite 16 points and six rebounds from sophomore Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team lost 89-46 to cross city rival Lycoming College. The Lady Wildcats struggled to get off solid shots as Lycoming notched 11 blocked shots and caused 25 turnovers earning 23 points off of them.
Lycoming (1-0, 0-0 MAC) outrebounded Penn College (1-1, 0-0 PSUAC) 50-31.
In the opening half, the Warriors jumped out to a 5-0 lead before a jumper from Steer stopped the offense. Steer would be held to only six points in the first half as early foul trouble limited her playing time.
It was cruise control for Lycoming as the team would shoot over 50 percent from the field.
As a team, the Wildcats shot 30 percent from the field and 48 percent from the charity stripe.
Penn College will look to bounce back from the loss as it hosts Davis College on Thursday, November 18 at 7 p.m.
