2010-11 Men's Basketball: PSU New Kensington

The victory against New Kensington keeps the Wildcats in the top spot of the PSUAC North Division
MCKEESPORT, Pa. – Senior Greg Solyak (Lititz) sank 28 points to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team to an 83-77 victory over Penn State New Kensington. Junior Leroy Joiner (Williamsport) notched his 18th double-double of the season with 20 points and 13 rebounds.
Penn College (11-11, 10-2 PSUAC) was down by 10 in the first half before a 12-0 run, six from senior Phillip Kaylor (Lebanon) gave the team a 41-36 lead going in to the break. Kaylor ended the game with 12 points.
New Kensington quickly took back the lead in the second before the Wildcats went on an 8-0 tear to take the lead. They did not give it up the rest of the game.
Also for Penn College, senior Nico Italiani (Easton) had 14 points.
The Wildcats will travel to Penn State Beaver on Sunday, Feb 13. for a 2 p.m. game.
