2010-11 Men's Basketball: PSU Mont Alto

Junior Leroy Joiner sank 20 points and pulled down 14 boards in the Wildcats' second straight conference win
MONT ALTO, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team rallied from a halftime deficit to defeat Penn State Mont Alto 76-74 Saturday afternoon. Junior Leroy Joiner (Williamsport) scored 20 and pulled down 14 boards as the team improves to 2-0 in the PSUAC and 3-4 overall.
The game was tied at 74 with four seconds left when Mont Alto fouled Joiner. He would hit two from the line to put the Wildcats ahead. The Lions would not be able to equalize.
Seniors Phil Kaylor (Lebanon) and Nico Italiani (Easton) each had 15 points in the game while senior Greg Solyak (Lititz) had 12.
Penn College ran the press for the first 39 minutes causing 29 turnovers from Mont Alto. They would go man to man in the last minute.
The Wildcats were down 37-36 going into the half.
Next up, Penn College will travel to Clarion University on Saturday, Dec. 11 for a 3 p.m. game.
