The Wildcats took on Susquehanna and Bridgewater State in the Tip Off Tournament
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Junior Leroy Joiner (Williamsport) was named to the Pepsi/Weis Markets Tip-Off Tournament Team as the Pennsylvania College of Technology went 0-2 on the weekend dropping games to host Susquehanna University (60-92) and Bridgewater State University (109-78). Joiner averaged 19 points and nine rebounds to led the Wildcats. Penn College now falls to 0-4 overall.
The Wildcats took on Susquehanna in the opening round. They jumped out to a 5-0 lead before the Crusaders fought their way back and took it over in the 13th minute. Joiner led the team with 18 points and seven rebounds.
In the consolation game, Joiner again led the team in scoring and rebounding with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Senior Geg Solyak (Lititz) added 13 while senior Phil Kaylor (Lebanon) notched 10.
The Wildcats will next host Alfred University Monday, November 22 for an 8 p.m. game.
