The Penn College men placed second in the EPCC Tournament

POCONO SUMMIT, Pa. – Sophomore Aaron Smith (Waynesboro) bowled a high game of 279 to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology bowling team as it competed in the EPCC Bowling Tournament. Smith along with junior Peter Stuut (Williamsport), freshman Tyler Weaver (Catawissa), and senior Paul Bouchard (Montoursville) came in second just behind Northampton Community college with a team total of 2453.

Freshman Brianne Burkland (Danville) had the high series on the women’s side with a 699. Burkland with freshman Rebecca Rudy (Lancaster) and sophomore Evelyn Furman (Montoursville) took top spot on the women’s side with a 1707, but with only three participants, could not qualify for the PCAA State Tournament.

The Wildcats travel to Phillipsburg, Pa. for the PCAA State Tournament on Saturday, Feb 19 at noon.
