2010-11 Bowling: EPCC Invitational hosted by Penn College at Faxon Lanes

The Wildcats took the top spot at their home invitational
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Junior Owen Darby (Easton) bowled a high game of 268 as the Pennsylvania College of Technology bowling team started off the 2010 season first at its home meet. The team of sophomore Aaron Smith (Waynesboro), senior Wes Moyer (Fleetwood), sophomore Merle Burkhart (Lancaster) and Darby averaged a 222 to take the top team spot of the afternoon.
For the Lady Wildcats, freshman Joselyn Remphrey (Middleburg), freshman Rebecca Rudy (Lancaster) and freshman Leann Folk (Paxtonville) topped the women’s competition with a 200 average.
Also for the Wildcats, junior Peter Stuut (Williamsport), sophomore Travis Rupert (Lock Haven), senior Paul Bouchard (Montoursville) and Tyler Weaver averaged a 197 placing them fifth of the right teams competing.
Next up, Penn College will travel to Jordan Lanes, in Allentown, Pa. for the Lehigh Carbon Community College Invitational on Nov. 18 at 3 p.m.
