Freshman Jake Shedden was the USCAA Runner-Up earning him All-American honors
CONCORD, N.H. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross country team placed fourth at the USCAA Cross Country Championships in Concord, N.H. Freshman Jake Shedden (Canton) placed second with a time of 25:24 among 122 runners in the 8K and just missed the USCAA Men’s Cross Country Individual Championship by two seconds. Shedden’s finish earned him a spot on the USCAA All-American Team. Senior Tamara Pavlov (Lewisburg) led the Lady Wildcats placing eighth out of 86 runners with a time of 25:36 in the 6K just out of All-American contention.
Also for the Lady Wildcats, freshman Shannon Abercrombie (Roaring Branch) was 25th with a time of 27:19.
Sophomore Travis Cain (Bloomsburg) placed 27th with a time of 27:55 while junior Seth Beckman (Linden) was 31st with a 28:08 time. Junior Corvin Oberholtzer (Wellsboro) placed 34th with a time of 28:21 and sophomore Brandon Knapp (Shenandoah) finished 51st at 29:25.
Rounding out the runners were freshman Edward Knyff (Ocean’s Gate, N.J.) who finished 55th (29:37), sophomore Daniel Gwynn (Southampton) at 61st (30:00), freshman Cody Huffman (Littlestown) at 79th (31:29) and freshman William Klaus (Middleburg) at 85th (31:52).
