Fall 2010 Cross Country: PSUAC-PCAA Championships PSU Mont Alto

Penn College captured the 2010 PSUAC Men's Cross Country title
MONT ALTO, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross country team won PSUAC Championships help at Penn State Mont Alto. The Wildcats beat Penn State Scranton by over 40 points for the title. Freshman Jake Shedden (Canton) won the individual championships while senior Tamara Pavlov (Lewisburg) was the runner up for the women.
For the men, sophomore Travis Cain (Bloomsburg) came in third running 32:10 while junior Seth Beckman (Linden) was sixth running 33:19.
For the women, freshman Shannon Abercrombie (Roaring Branch) placed eighth at 22:16.
Rounding out the top 20 finishers for the men was junior Corvin Oberholtzer (Wellsboro) at 13th (34:25), freshman Ed Knyff (Ocean Gate, N.J.) at 15th (34:55) and senior Mike Fischer (Ringwood, N.J.) at 20th (35:23).
Next up, Penn College will travel to Concord, N.H. for the USCAA National Cross Country Championships on Nov. 5.
