Fall 2010 Cross Country: PCT Invitational Luzerne CCC

Sophomore Travis Cain ran a 28:19 placing him third
NANTICOKE, Pa. – Freshman Jake Shedden (Canton) placed first as the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross country team won the Penn College/Luzerne County Community College Invitational Saturday. Senior Tamara Pavlov (Lewisburg) was the runner up for the women with a time of 19:56.
Freshman Shannon Abercrombie placed sixth running 21:22.
For the men, sophomore Travis Cain (Bloomsburg) came in third running 28:19 while junior Seth Beckman (Linden) was fifth running 28:51.
Rounding out the top 20 finishers for the men was junior Corvin Oberholtzer (Wellsboro) at 12th (30:01) and freshman Ed Knyff (Ocean Gate, N.J.) at 16th (30:39).
Next up, Penn College will travel to the PSUAC-PCAA Championships at Penn State Mont Alto on Oct. 23.
