Fall 2010 Women's Volleyball: PSU Scranton

Penn College had 25 kills and 13 service aces as a team against Scranton
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman Lindsay Moyer (Canton) notched seven kills and four service aces to lead The Pennsylvania College of Technology Women’s Volleyball team to a dominating performance against Penn State Scranton Thursday. The Wildcats allowed only 26 total points to be scored by the Lions as they won in straight sets 25-7, 25-8, 25-11. Penn College now improves to 11-4 overall and 8-1 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
Sophomore Tara Powell (Burgettstown) added seven kills to the mix and two digs. Freshman Samantha Davis (North Apollo/Apollo-Ridge) had four blocks and five kills in a solid night.
Junior Lyndsey Smith (Mechanicsburg/Cumberland Valley) set the Wildcats up right and had 20 assists on the night.
As a team, Penn College had 25 kills, 13 service aces and 12 total blocks.
Next up, Penn College will travel to Penn State Beaver for a PSUAC tri-match on Saturday, Oct. 9 starting at 1 p.m.
