The Wildcats captured 26 blocks in the tri match

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology volleyball team went 1-1 as it hosted a tri match with Penn State York and Hazleton. The Wildcats dominated Hazleton with a 3-0 victory 25-11, 25-22 and 25-21. It was a five set marathon against Mont Alto, with Penn College just falling short of the victory 27-25, 25-20, 16-25, 22-25, 9-15. Penn College is now 6-4 overall and 3-1 in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference.

Freshman Sam Davis (North Apollo/Apollo-Ridge) led the team with 16 kills. She also notched five blocks and six block assists. Freshman Lindsay Moyer (Canton) wasn’t far behind with 15 kills along with four blocks and two block assists. Junior Lyndsey Smith had 56 assists on the afternoon.

Next up, Penn College will travel to Penn State Hazleton for a tri match at 1pm.
