Freshman Paula Karine Monteiro had a season high 16 digs

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team won its second straight match with a five set victory over Penn State Wilkes Barre 25-18, 25-17, 21-25, 21-25, 15-12. The Wildcats now improve to 5-3 overall and 2-0 in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference.

Freshman Samantha Davis (North Apollo/Apollo-Ridge) had a season high 14 kills, five blocks and eight block assists. Freshman Paula Karine Monteiro (Rio de Janeiro/International) was also a standout with a season high 13 kills, 16 digs and four block assists.

Next up, the Wildcats will host a tri-match with Penn State York and Mont Alto on Saturday September 25 starting at 11 a.m.
