Freshman Samantha Davis notched eight kills in the conference victory

HAZLETON, Pa. – Freshmen Lyndsay Moyer (Canton) and Samantha Davis (North Apollo) each scored eight kills to help lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team to a 3-0 win over Penn State Hazleton. Junior Lyndsey Smith (Mechanicsburg) had her targets locked as she had 25 assists in the match. Penn College now improves to 4-3 overall and 3-1 in the PSUAC.

Sophomore Ashley Matson (Troy) had a season high five service aces. Freshman Paula Karine Monteiro (Rio De Janeiro, Brazil) led the team with seven digs.

The Wildcats will next travel to Penn State Wilkes Barre on Sept. 21 for a 7 p.m. match.
