Freshman Ethan Dunkle dodges a New Kensington attacker

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. –Freshman Tristan Smith (Bermuda, FF/International) scored two to help the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s soccer team to a 3-1 win over Penn State New Kensington. Penn College, ranked third nationally, is now 7-0 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference and 11-2 overall.

Junior Patrick Kehoe (Oley) opened up the scoring in the 23rd minute. It would be the only goal of the half. New Kensington would equalize in the opening minutes of the second before Smith scored two in the 62nd and 72nd.

Senior goalkeeper Daniel Smith (Shermans Dale/West Perry) had one save on the day.

As a team, the Wildcats got off 27 shots and earned six corner kicks.

Penn College will get back into action on Thursday, October 14th when they host Valley Forge Military College at 6pm.
