October 13, 2010

The Wildcats held the Crusaders scoreless through the first half
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite 16 saves from freshman Hannah Britton (Selinsgrove), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team dropped an 8-0 match to central Pennsylvania rivals Susquehanna University. The Wildcats now drop to 5-5 for the season.
The Penn College defense held strong and didn’t let a goal in the net in the opening half despite being outshot 22 to two. It was a tale of two halves though as the Crusaders’ offense stepped up and opening up the scoring in the first minute of play in the second. Seven more goals would follow including a converted penalty kick.
Next up, Penn College will host Alfred University on Saturday October 16 at 1pm.
