Sophomore Kierstin Steer scored a hat trick in the 4-2 victory
MONACA, Pa. – Sophomore Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) scored a hat trick to help lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team to a 4-2 victory over Penn State-Beaver. This is the second straight win for the Wildcats as they improve to 3-4 overall.
Steer opened up the scoring in the first half while senior Kimberly Daley (Springfield Center/Cherry Valley) added some offense to the mix with another goal. The Nittany Lions would score two to equalize to go into the half tied.
Steer would score her final two goals in the second half, one off a pass from freshman Jocelyn Moyer (Tower City/Williams Valley) to seal the victory for Penn College. Sophomore goalkeeper Amanda Reedy (Burnham/Indian Valley) recorded eight saves in the win.
Next up, Penn College will host Salem International University on Saturday, Oct 9 at 2pm.
