Reading scored in the 88th to clinch the 3-2 victory over Penn College
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite goals from Jocelyn Moyer (Tower City) and senior Kimberly Daley (Springfield Center, N.Y.), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team lost 3-2 to Reading Area Community College. This loss is the second straight for the Wildcats as they drop to 1-2 overall.
It was a wet game, with weather working as second adversary against the Wildcats. They allowed early goals in the fourth and seventh minute. Daley put the team on the board in the 72nd and Moyer equalized in the 77th. Despite mounting a comeback,
Reading scored with only two minutes left in the game to take victory from Penn College.
It was an evenly matched game with both teams getting off eight shots. Penn College had five saves from sophomore Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport). They also earned six corner.
Next up, Penn College will travel to Reading Area Community College on Thursday, September 16 for a 4 p.m. game.
