Senior Kimberly Daley opened the season with four goals against Davis
The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team opened up its season with a strong offensive showing defeating Davis College 10-0 in the team’s home opener Saturday. Kimberly Daley (Springfield Center, N.Y./Cherry Valley) led all scorers with four goals while Jocelyn Moyer (Tower City/Williams Valley) had a hat trick and an assist.
As a team, the Wildcats totaled 52 shots to Davis’ four and earned four corner kicks on the day. Goalkeeper Amanda Reedy (Burnham/Indian Valley) had four saves on the day.
Moyer got the scoring started just 39 seconds into the game to put Penn College on the board. The team would go on to score three in the first half.
Also for the Wildcats, Kiersten Steer (South Williamsport) had two goals while Samantha Wallish (Harrisburg/Lower Dauphin) notched one.
Next up, Penn College will travel to Lycoming College on Saturday, September 11 for a 4:30pm game.
