Penn College captured its second win of the season at the PSU New Kensington Invitational

NEW KENSINGTON, Pa – The Pennsylvania College of Technology golf team won its second competition of the year winning the Penn State – New Kensington Invitational Tuesday. Freshman Chad Vuocolo (Lock Haven/Central Mountain) shot an 80 and placed third to lead all Wildcat golfers.

Also for Penn College, senior Dean Bell (Schwenksville/Perkiomen Valley) hit an 84 placing him fifth while junior Kurt Linhart (Zionsville/Southern Lehigh) tied for sixth with an 85. Sophomore Joe Peters (Harrisburg/Central Dauphin) shot an 86 putting him seventh and freshman Alex Howe (Lake Ariel/Western Wayne) was in eighth place with an 87.

This completes the regular season for the team. Next up, the Wildcats will travel to State College, Pa. for the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Championships from October 10-12.
