Trout teamed with junior partner Rachel Emmons (Washington, N.J.) to take women’s doubles. York and Penn State Brandywine, the top two teams going into Sunday’s matches each split the other flights allowing for the Wildcats to swoop in for the victory.
The two-day team championship is based on individual play. Each team is rewarded points for its players that win and progress through the tournament. At the end of the weekend, the points are added for each team and a champion is crowned.
