Junior Brad Fisher dropped only two games in his 6-1, 6-1 second singles win
MONT ALTO, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology tennis team won its third straight match with a 6-3 victory over Penn State Mont Alto. The Wildcats now improve to 4-2 overall and 4-2 in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference.
Penn College took four of its six singles matches with senior Shane Burridge (Ephrata) winning 6-4, 6-1 at first singles and junior sophomore Brad Fisher (Williamsport/Montoursville) taking second singles 6-1, 6-1. Senior Robert Kemrer (Milton) stays undefeated with his fourth singles win 6-0, 6-3 while freshman Jenna Walmer (Lebanon/Cedar Crest) enjoyed her first victory of the season 6-1, 6-1 in women’s second singles.
In doubles, Burridge teamed with junior Adam Groff (Washington Boro/Penn Manor) at first doubles to win 6-4, 6-4 while Kemrer and freshman Jacob Kuska (Mohnton/Holy Name) won 6-2, 6-0 at second doubles.
Next up, the Wildcats will travel to Penn State Hazleton on Wednesday September 29 at 3 p.m.
