Fall 2010 Cross Country: PSU Fayette

The Wildcats won their second consecutive race for the 2010 season
UNIONTOWN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross country team won the Penn State Fayette Invitational Saturday. This marks the second consecutive race won this year by the Wildcats. Freshman Jake Shedden (Canton) won (32:42) on the men’s side while senior Tamara Pavlov (Lewisburg) was second (18:35) on the women’s side.
Also for the women, freshman Shannon Abercrombie (Roaring Branch) placed seventh (23:58).
For the men, freshman Edward Knyff (Ocean Gate, N.J.) was fifth (32:54), sophomore Travis Cain (Bloomsburg) placed seventh (33:13) and junior Seth Beckman (Linden) was ninth (33:24)
Rounding out the top 20 for the men was junior Corvin Oberholtzer (Wellsboro) at 11th (33:34), sophomore Dan Gwynn (Southampton) at 13th (33:50), freshman William Klaus (Middleburg) at 14th (34:06), senior Mike Fischer (Ringwood, N.J.) at 16th (34:14), sophomore Brandon Knapp (Shenandoah) at 17th (34:25) and freshman Cody Huffman (Littlestown) at 19th (34:54).
Next up, Penn College will travel to the Albright College Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 9.
