Senior Tamara Pavlov finished second at the conference meet
ALLENTOWN, Pa. –The Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross country team came in second at the Penn State Lehigh Valley Invitational Saturday. Senior Tamara Pavlov (Lewisburg) was the runner up for the women with a time of 18:35 while freshman Jake Shedden (Canton) placed third at 32:42.
For the men, freshman Ed Knyff (Ocean Gate, N.J.) was seventh (32:54), sophomore Travis Cain (Bloomsburg) came in 10th (33:13) and junior Seth Beckman (Linden) placed 13th (33:24).
For the women, freshman Shannon Abercrombie placed seventh (23:58) and freshman Ashley Hetrick (Williamsport) was 32nd (32:16).
Rounding out the top 20 finishers for the men was junior Corvin Oberholtzer (Wellsboro) at 15th (33:34), sophomore Dan Gwynn (Southampton) at 16th (33:50), freshman William Klaus (Middleburg) at 18th (34:06) and senior Mike Fischer (Ringwood, N.J.) at 20th (34:14).
Next up, Penn College will travel to the Penn State Scranton Invitational Sept. 18.
