The Lady Wildcats end 2013 with 13 wins overall and 12 in the PSUAC

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team lost 3-0 to top seed Penn State Fayette in the semifinals of the Penn State University Athletic Conference championships Friday. Junior Courtney Gernert (Palmyra) led the Lady Wildcats with nine kills and freshman Cathleen Aviles (Robesonia) with 13 assists. With the loss, Penn College finishes the season 13-20 overall and 12-6 in the PSUAC.

Fayette took the three sets 25-14, 25-18 and 25-9.

Also for the Lady Wildcats, sophomore Loralee Lindemuth (Tidioute) had five kills and freshman Katelyn Klein (Lock Haven) was right behind with four. Senior Rachel Heller (Allison Park) recorded seven of the team’s 17 digs.
