Fall 2013 Cross Country: PSUAC Championships - PSU Scranton

DUNMORE, Pa. – Junior Daniel Flynn (Blairstown, N.J.) placed fifth with a 30:59 helping the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross country team to a fourth place finish at the Penn State University Athletic Conference Championships held on the campus of Penn State Scranton Saturday. Flynn’s time earned him First-Team, All-Conference honors with freshman Nathan Mashack (Bloomsburg) placing 11th in a time of 32:30 for Second Team honors. Penn State Wilkes Barre won the team competition with the host taking second and Penn State Brandywine rounding out the top three. In total 37 runners from five institutions competed at the event.

Also for the Wildcats, freshman Tyler Pecora (Drums) was 16th with a 33:49 and senior Ed Knyff (Ocean Gate, N.J.) was 23rd with a 35:12. Rounding out the team was freshman William Cox (Ebensburg) with a 40:56 for 30th.

Next up, Penn College travels to Syracuse, N.Y. for the United State Collegiate Athletic Association Cross Country Championships on Friday, Nov. 8.
