WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – With the help of two assists from sophomore Tarik Laroche (Milton), the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s soccer team downed Baptist Bible College 3-0 Tuesday night. The Wildcats were held scoreless in the first 33 minutes before sophomore Christopher Rutledge (Macungie) scored a goal right off the bench in the 34th breaking up the stalemate. Senior David Munn (Athens) records the win in goal with a shutout off of six saves.

Penn College (2-1) used Rutledge’s goal to shift the momentum taking it out of the break into the second half when the team added two more goals. Senior Christopher Brennan (New Hope) scored his second goal of the year off a corner kick from Laroche in the 57th.

Just three minutes later, freshman Douglas Binnie (Charlton, Mass.) put the game out of reach taking a pass from Laroche to the net.

For the game, the Wildcats totaled 29 shots for Baptist Bible’s (1-2) 12.

Next up, Penn College travels to Penn State Schuylkill on Thursday, Sept. 12 for a 4 p.m. game.
