The Lady Wildcats are now 8-5-2 with the tie

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Sophomore Robyn Beddow (Lancaster) notched a goal in the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team 1-1 tie to Susquehanna University Wednesday. Freshman Colleen Bowes (Wayne) recorded 12 saves. The Crusaders dominated play outshooting Penn College 32-3. With the tie, the Lady Wildcats are now 8-5-2.

Susquehanna’s Samantha Zuponcic scored the lone goal in the first half in the 15th. Her team outshot the Wildcats 16-0 going into the break.

In the second half, Beddow equalized blasting a ball from 25 yards out in the 63rd. The Lady Wildcats totaled three shots for the period.

Next up, Penn College travels to Valley Forge Christian College on Friday, Oct. 18 for a 4 p.m. match.
