Sophomore Justus Leimbach placed second in the men's compound competition

HARRISONBURG, Va. – Senior Joseph Dowdrick (Lebanon) took the top spot in the men’s bowhunter and junior Ashley Baker (Coudersport) did the same in the women’s compound as the Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team put up a strong showing at the Adam Wheatcroft Memorial Invitational at James Madison University. The Wildcats took home six total trophies which included four team awards in the men’s compound, men’s bowhunter, women’s compound and mixed bowhunter competitions.

Also for the Wildcats, sophomore Justus Leimbach (Westminster, Md.) placed second in men’s compound. Finishing in third was sophomore Nicole Lapinski (Bloomsburg) in women’s compound and freshman William McFadden (New Tripoli) in men’s bowhunter.

Next up, Penn College travels to the University of Connecticut for the Northeast Collegiate Archery Tournament starting on Saturday, Apr. 13.
