The Lions hit 10 threes to help their cause in the win over Penn College
NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. – Sophomore Scott Fenton scored 20 points to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team in its 77-75 loss to PSU New Kensington. Sophomore Jesse Newman (Waterfall) added 19 points and sophomore Jason Greenfield (Wellsboro) notched a double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds. With the loss, the Wildcats are now 4-20 overall and 3-12 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
New Kensington had the 47-35 lead at the break. The Wildcats fought back and brought the game to within two, but could not get any closer. For the game, they shot 32-66 (.485) from the field and out-rebounded New Kensington 41-28.
The Lions were strong from the arc hitting 10 three-pointers.
Next up, Penn College hosts Penn State Scranton in its final game of the regular season on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 3 p.m.
