The Wildcats next host Penn State Fayette on Tuesday, Dec. 4

In the 20 th annual Nittany Lion Open, Penn College’s wrestlers went 0-for-6 as D.J. Frederich, of Croton On Hudson, N.Y., in the 125-pound weight class; Kyle Sunseri, of Athens, at 141; Wade Jacobson, of Alexandria, Va., at 141; and Paul Crutchlow, of Morris Plains, N.J., at 174, all went 0-1 while Jasper Ocker, of Burnham, at 197, went 0-2.

“There were some good things that they were doing, but then there were just the simple little things that they made a mistake and the guy they were wrestling scored on them. …It was a pretty short day for us,” said Penn College coach Schuyler Frey. “I think each of the guys learned a lot, and that’s one of the main reasons we go there, just open their eyes to the best wrestling that we can.”

The Wildcats resume dual meet competition Tuesday hosting PSU Fayette.
