The win is the Wildcats' fifth straight

MONT ALTO, Pa. - Freshman Gabrielle George (Monton) had a career high 23 digs as the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's volleyball team swept Penn State Mont Alto 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-16) in conference play Tuesday. The win is the fifth straight as the Wildcats improve to 6-3 overall and 4-0 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference. Also for the team, senior Tara Powell (Burgettstown) led with 10 kills.

As a team, Penn College totaled 37 kills and were strong defensively with 50 digs. Freshman Morgan Moberg (Huntingdon) was on point with her passes totaling 22 assists.

The Wildcats travel across town to attend the Lycoming Volleyball Classic starting on Friday, Sept. 28th with their first match slated for 5 p.m.
