Tony White

Coach White has been the assistant men’s basketball coach since 2009 and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the coaching staff.   In his time with the Wildcats, he has helped in leading the team to two conference championship appearances (2010,2011).

A native of the area, White played at Williamsport High School where he led the Millionaires in assists and three-point shooting.  During his time there, the team made it to the state quarterfinals.

After graduating Williamsport in 2003, White attended Misericordia University where he was a two-year letter winner.  He transferred to Thiel College and played his final two years there and graduated in 2007 with a B.A. in Math Education.

White immediately started working on a graduate degree at West Chester University.  During that time, he worked as a graduate assistant for the women’s basketball squad.  He graduated in 2009 with an M.A. in Philosophy.

Aside from coaching, White teaches Philosophy at Penn College and Misericordia.  He also works for the Keystone State Basketball Camp.  He currently lives in South Williamsport with his wife Theresa.
