After serving as the interim coach for the 2011-12 season, athletic director Scott Kennell appointed Chris Lemasters as the full time men's coach. Lemasters becomes only the second full-time head coach in the program's history.
Lemasters, already a staple in the Penn College community as a coordinator for Residence Life, grew up down the road in Mansfield earning his varsity letters for three years and captaining the Tigers his junior and senior years.
Lemasters went on to attend Alfred University in New York where he was a four-year letter winner and three year captain for the Saxons. He earned numerous accolades in his tenure including Alfred University Athlete of the week, the Derek Jackson Memorial Leadership Award, Empire 8 Sportsperson of the Year (2006) and Empire 8 Sportsmanship Award. He graduated in 2006 with a degree in Psychology and minor in coaching.
Lemasters immediately began working on his graduate degree in Students Affairs in High Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, graduating with the degree in 2008.
Lemasters currently resides in Williamsport with his wife and two kids.
