Coach Parker has seen success with Penn College Archery both as a player and coach.
He has been involved in archery for over 25 years including a three year stint for the Wildcats. In those years, he was named a three-time All-American for men's compound and won two gold and bronze team medals at the national championships. He graduated from Penn College in 1997 with a certificate in Electrical Technology.
In 2010, he came back to Penn College as a volunteer coach before making the leap to full-time assistant in 2011. In those two years, he helped coach the team to two consecutive second place finishes at the U.S. Collegiate Archery National Championships. In 2011, Parker was named as the head coach of the program succeeding previous coach Chad Karstetter.
In Parker's first year at the helm, he led the team to its third straight second place finish at the US Collegiate Archery National Championships. The squad had four team champions (Men's Recurve, Men's Compound, Men's Bowhunter and Women's Bowhunter) and two individual champions.
Parker resides in Millville with his family. He works as an electrician for Penn College.
