David Livermore

Coach Livermore has been with Penn College wrestling since its inception in January of 2011.  In only a short period of time, he has helped coach two wrestlers to National Collegiate Wrestling Association National Championship berths.

As a wrestler, Livermore has had a multitude of success both at the high and collegiate level.  For Williamsport Area High School, he two year letter winner.  In his senior year he made it to the PIAA Class AAA Districts for District 4 in the 185 lbs. class.    

After graduating in 1979, Livermore went on to wrestle at Penn State Altoona for a year winning the Commonwealth Campus Athletic Conference (CCAC) Championship in the 177 lbs. class.  He went on to make it to the quarterfinals of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Mid-Athletic Championships.  The following year, he transferred to University Park and made it as a walk on for the NCAA Division I program. 

Off the mat, Livermore works for Aqua Pure Products and Krystal Klear Water.  He resides in the Williamsport area.
