Chad Karstetter
Head Coach

Coach Karstetter has taken Penn College Archery to the heights of success. Since his start in 2001, his teams have been nationally ranked earning national championships in men’s compound (2008, 2010), women’s compound (2009) and men’s recurve (2009, 2010). In addition, he has coached 33 All-Americans and made archery a premier sport at Penn College.
Prior to coaching, Karstetter was no stranger to the archery program having attended Penn College. As a member of the men’s compound team, he earned All-American honors for three years. In 1997 and 1999 he was a member of the world team and won a team gold medal in the men’s compound. He graduated in 1999 with an Associate’s in Forest Science.
Karstetter works at Penn College in the Horticulture Department. He resides in Salona with his wife Debra and daughter Leah.
