Matt Wilt

Since 2010, Coach Wilt has been the head of Wildcat Women's basketball.  Since then, he has coach three all-conference selections and his teams have totaled an 23-49 (.319) overall record.  In the 2012-13 season, Wilt led the team to its first PSUAC playoff berth in three years.

Prior to Penn College, Wilt served as the Montgomery Area High School Boys Varsity Basketball Coach.  While there, he was a two-time Honorable Mention for the Division III Heartland Athletic Conference Coach of the Year Award.  In just two years, Wilt led the team to 23 wins.

A graduate of Milton High School in Milton, Pa., Wilt was a three-year letter winner for the varsity basketball program, two year letter winner for varsity baseball and one year letter winner for cross country.

Wilt began coaching in 1986 at Shikellamy Area High School in Northumberland, Pa.  He served as the girl’s junior varsity softball coach.  In 1990, he stepped in as head coach of the boy’s junior varsity and varsity basketball team at Lewisburg Area High School (Pa.).  While there in 2004, he also took over as the head coach for the girl’s softball program.

Wilt resides in Danville with his son Marcus.  He served as the Technology Manager Supervisor for Milton Steel Inc.  In his spare time is a football referee for the PIAA.
