Aimee Plastow

Coach Plastow has been at the helm of the Penn College Tennis program since 2008 posting an impressive 48-7 (.872) record along the way.  Under her direction, the program has achieved three consecutive PSUAC championships (2008-2010).   In addition, she was awarded the PSUAC Tennis Coach of the Year honor in 2009.

Plastow came to Penn College after serving as the head coach of the boy’s tennis team at St. John Neumann Regional Academy in 2007.  She also served as the assistant coach for the tennis team at Hughesville High School.

Plastow started her coaching career working as a professional at clubs in Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania.  In 1981, she was the coach for the girl’s tennis team at Highland Park High School in High Park, Ill.    After, she served as the Club Manager at the prestigious Gulph Mills Tennis Center in King of Prussia, Pa.  While there she served as Camp Director for the Julian Krinsky School of Tennis. 

As a player, Plastow was a nationally ranked junior.  She was a four-year scholarship student-athlete for Northwestern University in the Big Ten Conference.  She earned conference titles at second singles and first doubles and was an NCAA qualifier.  She graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor’s in Education. 

Plastow resides in DuShore, Pa. with her husband.  She works as the Tennis Director at Eagles Mere Tennis Center and is the proprietor of the Harrington House Bed and Breakfast.
