Freshman wrestler Ryan Hart has been named the Penn College Athlete of the Week for the period ending March 3. Hart competed at the Mid-East Conference Championships on Saturday, Mar. 2 and took the top spot in the 133 division. His efforts qualify him for the National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) Championships in Allen, Texas.
Hart has been on fire this season going 18-2 so far. He currently ranked eighth in the NCWA.
Next up, Hart and the Wildcats travel to the championships on Wednesday, Mar. 13
