Zachary Weil

Sophomore baseball player Zachary Weil has been named the Penn College Athlete of the Week for the period ending May 12.  Weil led the Wildcat baseball team at the USCAA Small College World Series hitting .462 (6-13) with three doubles, a home run and six RBI.  He had an impressive .923 slugging percentage for the tournament.  His efforts helped the team finish in the top six nationally and named him to the All-Tournament Team.

Weil had a strong season playing in 35 games hitting .339 (37-109) with 37 RBI and three home runs. The Wildcats finished the season 24-17 placing second in the PSUAC.
